Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo, from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was an infant. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married at an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. After she had converted to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at an Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk fell pregnant during the final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples ever. E! voted it the top couple on TV in 2013. Entertainment Television.
